Cairn Ghlas is a spacious detached property situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Highlands of Scotland.

Newly refurbished to a high standard in 2004, it has full oil central heating and double glazing, making it a cosy place to stay. It is fully equipped with all new appliances - electric cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and instant shower over the bath.

Cairn Ghlas sleeps up to six people in one double and two twin bedrooms. It has a large lounge/dinning room, kitchen, utility room and bathroom. The house is furnished to a high standard to enable our guests to have an enjoyable holiday.

  • Coastal walks (the beach at Mellon Udrigle is only 10 minutes walk away)
  • Munros - there are up to 40 Munros in the Wester Ross area
  • Cycling - there are good cycling routes from Cairn Ghlas itself, as well as many more places to cycle only a short car journey away
  • Water sports - at Mellon Udrigle beach you can swim, snorkel, canoe etc
  • Photography - there are endless opportunities in this area to take stunning photos of the scenery and wildlife - the colours in the bay at Mellon Udrigle are breathtaking
  • Fishing - freshwater and seawater angling is available locally
